Joyful Line Dance
The Joyful Line Dance Club meets on Thursdays in Clubhouse 2 from 10 a.m.-noon. The classes start with an easy-to-follow routine from 10-11 a.m. After a brief break, the second hour of the class offers more advanced routine. Every class is taught by a volunteer instructor. The club’s long-time member Nak-Soo will lead to the same music as regular instructors—Karen Kei and Albert Comia.
People must be members of the club to take classes, and sign in with their names, Mutual and unit numbers. Annual membership is $20 and cannot be prorated. Exercise shoes are recommended. Everyone is welcome.
For more information, contact Anna Derby at 562301-5339.
The club encourages beginners and intermediate dancers to continue showing up for classes. It takes up to six months to feel comfortable and confident with yourself and among others.
