Karaoke Club
May 31 was a good night for 25 singers. The fast-paced evening got them all singing several times. Pam Krug captured the audience with her pleasing voice and emotion singing “Midnight Blue.”
David Noble chose ole-time country tunes likes “Ghostriders in the Sky.” Essie Hicks was effective selling her song “Just Another Woman in Love.” Smiling Leila Claudio enjoyed singing “One Day in Your Eyes.”
Another talented performer was Susan Kelleghan with “Killing Me Softly.” Carmen Edwards sang a warm “It’s Magic.” Karen Morris and Nina Todorov entertained the audience with their catchy tunes.
Popular Wayne Urban in his husky voice likes to give a rousing finish to his songs. Group songs in the last minutes of the evening are enthusiastic and powerful for the remaining folks who love to sing.
People can enjoy Wednesday night karaoke in Clubhouse 1. It’s a friendly group of folks who want to sing and those who come to hear them. Coffee is hot and usually there are snacks. Karaoke practice sessions are on Mondays in Clubhouse 6 from 1-3 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
