Ham Shoot rescheduled to May

SHUFFLEBOARD CLUB

The Shuffleboard Club annual Ham Shoot has been rescheduled for Wednesday, May 20, from 3:30-6 p.m. Sign-up sheets are in the courts building.

League participants are excited to be back on the courts. The Tuesday league has five teams of six players. Each week one team has a bye. If a team scheduled to play needs a substitute, they can always contact the bye team to see if anyone wants to play. The Friday league has four teams of seven players so finding subs is not usually a problem.

April 10 Friday league results: Team Rod beat Team Patti 7-5 while Team Susan won over Team Shel 8-4. All game winners were Rod Osgood, Patti Nemnich, Steve Edrich, Vivian Ceballos and Patty Peterson.

April 14 Tuesday league results: Team Karen won against Team Sally 8-4, while Team Sue beat Team Jesus 8-4. All game winners were Anne Calvo, Lynne Haines, Ellie West, Sue Burkschab, Sue Gray and Heather Moore.

Open play is Monday mornings from 9-11. Anyone interested in learning to play should arrive at 9 and ask for Rod.
