Assembly of God

The parable in Matthew 13:47-50 uses a fishing metaphor to explain end-of-time prophecies. The New American Standard version of the Bible actually uses the term “drag net.” Pastor Chuck Franco, an avid fisherman, will explain what gets caught up in the drag net, what happens during the sorting process, and how that applies spiritually at Assembly of God’s Sunday service on June 7 at 10:30 a.m. in the Clubhouse 3 Lobby.

The Wednesday Bible study continues the series on the Holy Spirit with a video lesson on discernment from Pastor Tyler Staton. For every true, legitimate operation in the spiritual realm, authored and ordained of God, Satan manufactures a counterfeit. Christians need to know how to identify what is spiritually correct and in order, and what is not. Pastor Staton will give video lesson, and Pastor Chuck will moderate the class discussion, guided by study questions. The study meets at 10 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2.
