Club will host Fryer & Friends concert

Photography teacher Ziggy Romano will perform with Fryer & Friends on Tuesday, Oct. 20, from 6:30-9 p.m. in Clubhouse 4, sponsored by the Photo Arts Club. The dance is free but tips are appreciated.

Fryer & Friends performs an energetic mix of hit songs spanning multiple decades and genres. With saxophone, harmonica, keyboards, guitar, bass, drums and Latin percussion in the lineup, the band is able to stay closer to the character of the original recordings while creating a lively, dance-friendly show. Three band members— David Fitch, David Brito and Romano—are Leisure World residents.

The band features two accomplished frontmen. George Fryer is a fixture of the Southern California music scene, performing more than 200 shows a year. He draws from a repertoire of more than 1,000 songs. David Anthony is an experienced vocalist and multi-instrumentalist who fronts The Hollywood Stones, which performed at the 2025 Amphitheater Concert Season.
