Battle of the Bands: Whiskey Walkers

The Whiskey Walkers are kicking off GRF’s Battle of the Bands competition on Saturday, Oct. 3, in Clubhouse 1 at 6:30 p.m.

Whisky Walkers is a classic rock, acoustic guitar duo featuring high-energy lead guitar, vocals and harmonica. The band performs hits and deep cuts from Aerosmith, ZZ Top, The Doobie Brothers, The Allman Brothers Band, Bob Seger, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Grateful Dead, The Eagles, Santana, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Johnny Winter, Jimi Hendrix, Queen, Led Zeppelin and more.

Bandmates Tony Nottonson and Ken Cinotto met during the pandemic as regulars at Bogart’s Coffee’s Tuesday open mic nights and quickly discovered their musical affinity.

Over the past few years, they’ve entertained audiences throughout Long Beach and Orange County as members of the popular local band, The Rumrunners. In June 2026, the pair broke away to form the Whiskey Walkers.

Guests are welcome when accompanied by a resident. People are invited to bring their own refreshments.

As part of the GRF Battle of the Bands competition, attendance at performances will determine whether a band will keep coming back. Be sure to sign in and share feedback with the Recreation Department about the concert.
