The City of Seal Beach has ordered a new bus that will increase the capacity of its Senior Shuttle by six seats to accommodate a growing number of passengers. The bus will also provide an additional handicap-accessible seat, bringing the total number of seats to 26.

The Senior Shuttle is a free passenger shuttle equipped with wheelchair access that runs on a fixed route throughout major city stops, including: the Seal Beach Pier, Leisure World, Rossmoor Shopping Center and the North Seal Beach Community Center.

The shuttle operates Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.-noon and 1-4 p.m. To register, submit the following to Tatiana Marocco by email at tmarocco@sealbeachca. gov or GRF Member Resources Liaison Robann Arshat.

• An application that can be found on https://shorturl.at/HAcu5 or GRF Hospitality Center in Clubhouse 6.

• Proof of Seal Beach residency (ID card) and date of birth. To use this shuttle, people must be residents of Seal Beach; 60 years or older; pre-registered with the City of Seal Beach; and have their SMP ID number available for the driver. This number is assigned after submittal of application.
