Pick up 12 pounds of fresh produce for $10 on Aug. 27

Leisure World residents can purchase a 12-pound box of fresh produce for $10 cash from the Leisure World Lions Club’s monthly produce box program on Thursday, Aug. 27, from 10 a.m.-noon in the Clubhouse 6 parking lot.

The program is a community focused effort to support health and nutrition throughout the community each month.

During the event, LW Lions Club volunteers will be on hand to greet residents, manage distribution, and ensure everyone receives a generous box of seasonal produce. The convenient outdoor location at Clubhouse 6 makes pickup quick and accessible for all. Residents must bring their Leisure World GRF ID cards to participate. This requirement helps keep the program dedicated to serving the Leisure World community. The Lions Club remains committed to promoting wellness, independence, and neighborly connection.
