LW Lions Club launches new quarter exchange program

The Leisure World Lions Club is introducing a helpful new program designed to support residents who rely on the community laundry rooms. On Thursday, Aug. 20, from 10-11 a.m. in Clubhouse 6, the Lions Club will host a quarter exchange event, where residents can exchange a $10 bill for a $10 roll of quarters. The event will coincide with the Lions Club’s monthly produce box event.

The simple one-for-one exchange is meant to make laundry day easier for residents who may struggle to locate quarters elsewhere. Residents must present their GRF ID card to participate. Rolls will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
