Karaoke Club

The Karaoke Club’s Wednesday karaoke nights in Clubhouse 1 are filled with fun, laughter and entertainment from 5:30-9:30 p.m. The fast-paced evenings feature more than 30 eager performers, along with plenty of residents who come to applaud, sing along and enjoy fellowship.

On July 22, Fannie Noble delighted the audience as she sang and danced with her visiting granddaughters. Erika Greenwood’s daughter, Yvonne, gave a spirited rendition of “Coal Miner’s Daughter.” Sally Glausser charmed with “Que Sera, Sera,” while William Young added his trademark enthusiastic dance moves to his peppy tunes. The club always enjoys the smooth vocals of Donald Horning. Andy Baker delivered a powerful country favorite. Members celebrated the birthday of longtime member Roger Damicog.

Singers can polish their performance at the club’s weekly practice sessions held on Mondays from 1-3 p.m. upstairs in Clubhouse 6, where a welcoming group is ready to cheer people on.
