Humanist Association

The LW Humanist Association will meet Sunday, Aug. 2, in Clubhouse 3, Room 1, starting at 10:30 a.m. with Dave Silva as the featured speaker. Silva will deliver a presentation titled “Heaven, and other Afterlives.” He will cover what various religions believe happens when people die. The most common belief being the soul goes to some version of paradise, or punishment, while Humanists believe the afterlife is a topic of common interest that should be open to discussion.
