LEISURE WORLD LIONS CLUB

Recycled prescription glasses will be given away to those in need

A free mobile eye care clinic will be held at Clubhouse 4 on Saturday, May 30, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., courtesy of the California Lions Friends in Sight, Seal Beach Lions Club and Leisure World Lions Club. All residents are welcome, regardless of income, insurance, or prior eye care access.

The clinic will offer no-cost vision screenings, basic eye-health evaluations, and recycled prescription eyeglasses. Services are provided by volunteer optometrists and Lions Club members dedicated to improving sight and supporting community wellness.

This clinic offers a valuable chance to update prescriptions, check for changes in vision, and address eye health concerns without financial barriers. The goal is to ensure every resident who needs help with their vision receives it.

No appointments are needed. Screenings are offered on a first-come, firstserved basis, and residents are encouraged to arrive early. Participants may bring their current glasses, but it is not required. Clear signage will direct residents to the screening area inside Clubhouse 4.

Residents are welcome to drop off old eyeglasses and hearing aids at the Lions Club information station at the event.
