JAPANESE AMERICAN CLUB

Vera Rathje, a Julliard-trained concert pianist, will perform for the LW community on Saturday, June 20, in Clubhouse 2 at 1:30 p.m. The event is hosted by the Japanese American Club. The doors will open at 1, and refreshments will be served after the performance. Rathje will perform pieces by Liszt, Rachmaninoff, and Gershwin among others. She has been described as “an extraordinary classical pianist with an impeccable technique, great temperament, and wonderful subtlety,” by the San Francisco Examiner.
