Approximately, 25 volunteers gathered for the LW Democratic Club for its canvass training and refresher sessions. The club’s mission requires even more boots on the ground. During the month of May, the Democratic Hospitality Booth will be open every Tuesday outside Clubhouse 6 from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The booth will not be open the third Thursday this month. For more information, contact Rachael Lehmberg at rlehmberg815@gmail.com.
The Lunch Bunch meets at Hof ’s Hut off Seal Beach Boulevard at 11:30 a.m. on the first Wednesday of the month. For more information, email Debbie Wrathall at Debbiewrathall@mac.com.
The club’s next Voter Education session is on Wednesday, May 13, at 10:30 a.m., in Clubhouse 3, Room 3. Education sessions are the second Wednesday of each month. For more information, email Bender at beverleybender@gmail.com.
