During week nine of the LW Pool Club spring league, BDG edged The Rustlers 7-6. Bruce Pettys won five games, including both his singles matches.

The Burners beat The Bees 8-5, winning the final nine ball game and the eight ball triples match. Barry Brideau and Elizabeth Butterfield both won five games for The Burners.

The league leading Tumbleweeds continued their winning ways by beating The Renegades 8-5. Roy Mittlestead won five of his seven matches for The Tumbleweeds.

In the Wednesday league the race tightened up as The Predators beat the league leading Pool Addicts 9-4. Brian Burke led The Predators with six wins, losing only his nine ball singles match. Teammates Gary Snow and Connie Terry, who made a great bank shot to win a game, had five wins.

The Favorites moved to within one game of The Pool Addicts by beating Rack & Rollers 8-5. Shery Wells and Dave Silva each won five games for The Favorites.

Break & Run edged Chalk Dirty 2 Me by a 7-6 score. Break & Run broke a 6-6 tie by winning the final eight ball game. Dave Mackinder and Susan Dodson each won four games for Break & Run.
