Duplicate bridge pro-am game is Monday, April 27
The Leisure World Duplicate Bridge Club’s professional- amateur (pro-am) duplicate bridge game will be on Monday, April 27, in Clubhouse 1 at 12:30 p.m. Each team will consist of one “pro” and one “am.” Partners will be assigned on game day. A pro is a player with at least several years of experience. An “am” is a player who has little or no experience. Reservations must be made at least one day before the game. The club meets on Mondays and Fridays in Clubhouse 1 at 12:30 p.m. Reservations can be made at any game using the sign-up sheets. Players can call Linda Nye at 562-453-6678 or email her at yuelingnye@yahoo. com no later than 10 a.m. on game day. Arrive by 12:15 to confirm reservations.

April 10 winners (seven tables): North/South: Howard Smith and Bud Parish (65%); Diane Schmitz and Thad Mikols (61%). East /West: Lynn Daniellson and John Tholen (56%); Harriet Weiss and Pat Hallock (53%).
