Ticket sales begin on April 14 for June 30 putting contest

LW WOMEN'S GOLF CLUB

The LW Woman’s Golf Club will hold its second annual putting contest on Tuesday, June 30, at 7:45 a.m. at the Turtle Lake Golf Course. The event is open to all Leisure World residents. Membership in a golf club is not required. The entry fee is $10. Tickets go on sale April 14. The contest is limited to 60 players. The first, second and third place winners will be awarded prizes of $100, $75 and $25 respectively. The entry fee includes one raffle ticket for a chance to win a $50 Roger Dunn gift card and a gift basket from event sponsor Gasper Monteer Realty Group. For more information, text 714-469-8160.

March 31 brought 38 women to the Leisure World golf course for a special fifth week 18 hole tournament. The tournament was sponsored by the On-Site Sales team headed by Dawn Januszka. It was a special day for Margie Thompson and Janell Heibert—each earned a hole-in-one and received $100 in prize money. Closest to the pin went to CeCe Feltman and Hae Lee. The club thanks On-Site Sales for the refreshments and prize money.
