Scrabble Club

The Leisure World Scrabble Club meets each Wednesday in Clubhouse 3, Room 5, from 1-4 p.m. New members are welcome.

The club met on the last two Wednesdays in March and on April 1. There were 27 scores of 300 or above and 24 bingos. A bingo is the use of all seven tiles in one move.

Suthy Edgar led with 12 bingos and seven scores above 300. Her totals ranged from 351-454. Larry Edgar topped 300 seven times with four bingos. His scores ranged from 324-392.

Jim Schneiderman had six totals higher than 300 and four bingos. The range of his scores was from 306 -359. Diane Seeger bettered 300 three times, with one bingo. Her range was from 357-394.

Myrna Losquadro had three bingos along with scores of 363 and 301. Sue Ann Gass posted a score of 348. Sylvia Makus recorded an even 300.
