Scam Notice: Con-Arborist

A Mutual 15 resident reported that a person came to her door claiming a tree in front of her unit needed to be removed and demanded $200 in cash to take care of it immediately. The resident wisely refused and contacted a friend, who then notified Security.

Remember: no legitimate representative of GRF will ever request immediate cash payment at someone’s door. Any authorized services that result in charges are formally invoiced, and residents always have the right to review and dispute those charges.
