Leisure World Cares Fund board to meet on Thursday, April 9
The Leisure World Cares Fund board will meet Thursday, April 9, at 1:30 p.m. in Building 5, GRF Conference Room B. All are welcome to attend.
During the meeting, the board will discuss:
• Updates on applications and efforts to promote awareness.
• Reports on client assessment experiences with input for improvement.
• Donor engagement progress and outreach efforts.
• Letters of gratitude from recent awardees will be shared. Ideas on spreading the word about the fund’s mission to help provide housing security to residents are welcome.
Qualified applicants are awarded up to $200 per month for a period of 12 months to help pay their HOA fees. The awards will be renewable after an annual review. All application material is held in strict confidence. Help filling out the application is available. Application forms will be dropped off and will be picked up if that is more convenient.
