Faith Christian Assembly
Residents are invited to observe Holy Week at Faith Christian Assembly starting Friday, April 3, for a one-hour Good Friday service starting at noon, marking the day of Jesus’ crucifixion, as he took all of humankind’s sins upon himself and paid the price the world could not pay.
Romans 6:23 says “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Following his death on the cross, Christians celebrate the joy of Jesus’ miraculous resurrection from the dead on Resurrection Sunday, April 5. It’s this moment that Jesus’ own words during his life—and the scriptures in the Old Testament pointed to hundreds of years before—proved he was who he claimed to be: the Son of God in human form. This is why Christians rejoice in this day also known as Easter Sunday.
Weekly Sunday service time is 10:30 a.m. The Wednesday Bible study will be held April 8 at 11 a.m. The men’s and women’s ministries meet the third Thursday of each month at 1 p.m.; the next gathering is on April 16. All residents are invited to come and experience great community and Bible-based teaching. For more information, call 562-598-9010 or visit www.FCAchurch.net.
