Community Church

All LWers are encouraged to join Community Church’s “Coffee with Pastor” at 10 a.m. today, April 2, and then stay for the Maundy Thursday hand-washing and lunch at 11 a.m.

On Friday, April 3, Community Church will join Redeemer Lutheran Church for Good Friday at 10 a.m.

Sunday is the first of seven Sundays of Easter. On Sunday, April 5, people are encouraged to bring flowers to adorn the Easter Cross and join the church in worship. All are welcome who are welcoming to all.

Community Church holds worship every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. at 14000 Church Place.

Community Church encourages believers to “Shine in the Darkness,” with a list of daily suggestions as alternatives to Lenten sacrifice. Copies of this list are available at the Sunday service, or in the church office during business hours from Tuesday-Thursday at 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

This week’s challenges are as follows:

• April 2: Avoid complaining all day.

• April 3: Send a letter to a friend.

• April 4: Call a friend.

• April 5: Easter
