Pro-Am game coming April 27

DUPLICATE BRIDGE CLUB

The Leisure World Duplicate Bridge Club will host a Pro-Am game on Monday, April 27, for residents who have played bridge in the past but may have little or no experience in duplicate bridge.

The club meets on Mondays and Fridays in Clubhouse 1 at 12:30 p.m. Reservations can be made at any game using the sign-up sheets. Players can call Linda Nye at 562-453-6678 or email her at yuelingnye@yahoo.com no later than 10 a.m. on game day. Arrive by 12:15 to confirm reservations.

March 9 winners (seven tables): North/South: Bud Parish and Howard Smith (59%); Bill Brooks and Sue Fardette (58%). East/ West: Kathy Jervik and Sherry Geller-Vogel (60%); Harriet Weiss and Pat Hallock (58%).

March 13 winners (seven tables): North/South: Anthony Reddy and Miranda Reddy (59%); Harriet Weiss and Pat Hallock (57%). East/West: Marcia Lane and John Berg Jr. (59%); Lynn Danielson and John Tholen (57%).
