Editor:

I’d like to take a moment and praise the GRF Service Maintenance Department. I had a small emergency March 16 as my kitchen faucet was badly leaking all of a sudden.

I called Service Maintenance, and plumber Russ Thorne came to my rescue.

We must recognize when we are in contact with someone who is experienced and knows exactly what to do and how to do it right and very pleasant as well.

That was my experience with Russ. He’s helped me in the past, and I was happy to see him again. Thank you, Russ, and Service Maintenance. I appreciate you very much!

After 24 years living in Mutual 15, Laurie and I are moving to Barataria, Louisiana.

Good-bye to all the residents who we got to know after so many years.

Laurie became well known as the lady who had large carport sales and the larger flea market in Clubhouse 2.

I would like to thank the old guys and gals whom I served with on the Mutual board.

Also, I’m thankful for my eight years as president of the Republican Club, but my greatest reward was a gift that God gave me in making crosses with a message that you can now see throughout Leisure World. God Bless all of you.
