Guys and Gals Tournament coming on April 15

Twenty-six teams of one man and one woman competed in the Guys and Gals Tournament on March 18 at the Turtle Lake Golf Course.

Low net scores were by teams Jae H. and Sun Lee, and Scott Tuchfarber and Pam Krug, at 9 under 45, followed by John Kolthoff and Janell Hiebert, Bob and Janice Turner, Bruce Bowles and Linda Herman, 7 under 47. Pat Paternoster and CeCe Feltman had low gross of 50.

Closest to the pin for the men on the eighth hole was Alan Sewell and on No. 17 it was Gene Archambault; for the women it was Nancy Smith, No. 8 and Yasmin Merali, No. 17. There were seven circle hole winners.

C flight winners (team handicaps of 8-18): Jae H. and Sun Lee, Tuchfarber and Krug, first place; Hyon Shin and Sang An, Jon Russell and Patti Littrell, second; Steve and Connie Kang, third; Lee Broadbent and Joann Lim, fourth.

The next Guys and Gals tournament will be on April 15. The men’s tournament is played every second and fourth Wednesday of the month. Those who had planned to play in any tournament and cannot should contact Scott Tuchfarber at 909684-0426, or Dave LaCascia at 801-674-5975.
