American Latino Club
As a form of gratitude for their kind and loving support, the American Latino Club board voted to gift the club’s current members a free lunch at the club’s next meeting on Thursday, April 9, from 11:30 a.m.–3 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2. During the meeting, the club will celebrate the country of Uruguay with a video presentation and discussion.
The free lunch is only for current club members and any new members who register and join by Tuesday, March 31. This deadline is a must in order to finalize the menu. There is a $5 charge for members’ caregivers and $10 for guests. There is no charge for members who want to bring their own lunch.
The lunch menu consists of: two Argentinian empanadas with a choice of chicken, beef or spinach; Mexican rice, a tossed salad, and pineapple-carrot cake for dessert, plus beverages.
Caregivers and guests must submit payment and meal choice to club Treasurer Rachel Fullum by dropping it off in her mailbox at 1371 Oakmont Road, 150-L, Seal Beach, CA 90740. Make sure to mail check with enough time for on-time delivery. Payment by check made payable to the American Latino Club. All payments and member lunch choices are due by Sunday, April 5, at 3 p.m. For more information or to RSVP, call Fullum at 310-869-7730.
