Leisure World residents are invited to enjoy a special evening in Los Angeles as the Recreation Department hosts a bus trip to LA Opera’s lively production of “Falstaff” on Thursday, April 30, at the beautiful Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.

Giuseppe Verdi’s final opera is a sparkling comedy filled with clever tricks, romance and music. When the boastful Sir John Falstaff attempts to charm two wealthy wives at the same time, the women quickly discover his scheme and decide to teach him a lesson. The result is a fast-paced evening of disguises, mischief and laughter, brought to life with colorful costumes, grand scenery, and a brilliant cast.

Tickets are $40 per person and include round-trip charter bus transportation. Tickets go on sale Monday, March 30, at 8 a.m., and can be purchased at the Recreation Office on the ground floor of Building 5 or online at https://www.lwsb.com/special-events/.
