Shuffleboard Club winter leagues begin on April 7

Residents are invited to join the Shuffleboard Club on Mondays from 9-11 a.m. to learn the basics, make new friends and have fun. All the needed equipment is available, but players should be sure to wear closedtoe shoes. Hone new skills just in time for the annual Ham Shoot tournament on April 8. This fun and friendly event is for members of all levels.

The winter leagues have ended and the spring leagues will begin on April 7, so now is a great time to join in on the fun. The shuffleboard courts building is located on Burning Tree Lane, behind Clubhouse 1.

March 3 results: Team Sue bested Team Jesus 8-4 and Team Bob overtook Team Sally 9-3. All-game-winners were Linda Evenson, Heather Moore, Betty Carlson, Bob Peterson, Lynne Haines and Lori Propert.

March 5 results: Team Lynne outdid Team Micki 8-4. All-game-winners were Marilyn Blackmun, John Mount and Bob Peterson.

March 6 results: Team Patti edged out Team Shel 7-5. All-game-winners were Patti Nemnich and Shel Magnuson.

The Shuffleboard Club is all about having fun and making new friends.
