Shuffl eboard’s Valentine’s potluck was a success

The Shuffleboard Club’s Valentine’s potluck held on Feb. 13 was considered a success with 52 members and guests in attendance. Members contributed main dishes, side dishes and desserts.

They were generous in purchasing opportunity tickets. Opportunity drawing items included cash, handmade wooden hearts by member Rod Osgood, hand-painted rocks and refrigerator magnets by member Fred Carpenter, and centerpieces by Sally Fowler.

The club thanks committee members Donna Perkins, Susan Hopewell, Sally Fowler, Lynn Baidack and all the volunteers who put on the event, which included a photo booth.

Tuesday evening, Feb. 3 results: Team Sally overtook Team Bob 9-3. Teams Sue and Jesus tied 6-6. All game winners were Patty Peterson, Judy Hulin, Sandy Bush, Mark Scott, Sally Fowler, Heather Moore and Connie Terry.

Thursday afternoon, Feb.

12 results: Team Mikki overtook team Lynne 8-4. All game winners were Carol Schubeck, Kathryn Ewell, Doris Morton and Micki Aiello.

Friday morning, Feb. 13 results: Team Patti edged out team Shel 7-5.
