Sunshine Club

Audiologist Dr. Jennifer Eichert will speak to the Sunshine Club on Friday, Feb. 20, in Clubhouse 3, Room 2, at 10 a.m. for a presentation titled “Understanding Hearing: How It Works, Why It Declines, and How We Can Help.”

Eichert is a dedicated audiologist with over 14 years experience in private practice. She earned her Doctorate in Audiology from Northwestern University in 2012, following her undergraduate studies at San Diego State University. Driven by a lifelong desire to help others, Eichert has built her career on a foundation of compassion, clinical excellence and patient empowerment.

Club members will learn about the crucial connection between hearing and the brain—how untreated hearing loss can affect cognitive function, communication, and quality of life. Finally, the presentation will cover how modern hearing aids work, what they can (and cannot) do, and how they support better hearing and brain health.
