Scrabble Club meets in CH 3

The Leisure World Scrabble Club meets each Wednesday from 1-4 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 5. New members are welcome.

In the last two meetings of January, there were 21 scores above 300 and ten bingos (i.e. the use of all seven tiles in one move).

Suthy Edgar led with five bingos and four scores higher than 300. The range of her scores was from 326 to 394.

Diane Seeger had four scores above 300 also, with a range of 303 to 447. She had four bingos. Larry Edgar topped 300 four times, with a range from 308 to 334.

Jim Schneiderman had scores over 300 three times, with a range of 329 to 332. Donna Perkins and Sylvia Makus each topped 300 twice. Perkins had a range from 314 to 333. Makus’ was 309 to 319.

Myrna Loscuadro posted a score of 325 and one bingo. Sue Ann Gass recorded a 324.
