Letters to the Editor
Editor:
Upon surveying the available LW amenities and recognizing my lack of talent for ping pong, golf and billiards, I determined to try the library—read the dictionary. I settled upon a study of the word “happiness,” that being the condition of my family. We are in good health, housed and not hungry. Compared to many others the world over, that qualifies for happiness. (Plus, I had the added joy of finding my pillow case, mysteriously absent from my recovered laundry, ultimately discovered—after multiple searches—nestled on a vane in the dryer).
I wish for us all to experience good life outcomes.

I was riding my trike, which is my main source of transportation, in Leisure World, and I had a mechanical failure. The rear wheel locked up. Luckily, I remembered my phone, so I called Security and told them my predicament. They immediately sent a truck to pick up the trike and a GRF bus to pick me up.
I was delivered home, no worse for wear. I have since repaired the trike and I learned a lesson to always take my walker, courtesy of GAF, with me on my rides. I feel lucky to live here!

My sincere appreciation for the thoughtfulness and caring that I received from Chris Wong in the GRF Security Department.
When I entered Leisure World in a rental car and asked for a day pass, he gave me a three-day pass in case I needed to keep the rental car for a longer time.
