Faith Christian Assembly

This world could use more candy hearts and love right now. The road of life is not heavily congested with loving hearts. It seems that division is everywhere. This can become very weary for people to witness day in and day out.

Christians are commanded in Galatians 6:9, “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.”

Christians can sometimes drift toward weariness. What should they do in those times? Keep going, keep doing good, and stay in God’s word. There is a lot of opposition today against plans for doing good: do good anyway. Christians are called to persevere.

Christian missionary Elisabeth Elliot said, “Sometimes life is so hard, you can only do the next thing. Whatever that is, just do the next thing. God will meet you there.”

Similarly, Isaiah 40:31 says, “But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”

Join Faith Christian Assembly each Sunday at 10:30 a.m. at 13820 Seal Beach Blvd. A Bible study is held on Wednesdays at 11 a.m.
