Karaoke Club

What a festive karaoke evening it was on Dec. 22 in Clubhouse 1. It was a wonderful surprise to welcome such a large gathering on what is usually an “off ” night for singing.

Walt Bier opened the evening with his favorite, “Christmas in Dixie.” Sandy Herdman, dressed as Mrs. Claus, followed with a lovely rendition of “White Christmas.” Karen Morris delighted the crowd with the playful “Meet Me Under the Mistletoe.” Chuck Oehl delivered a smooth and cheerful “Holly Jolly Christmas,” while Danna Saunders charmed the audience with the sassy “Santa Baby.” David Noble chose a religious favorite, “O Holy Night.” Group songs added even more joy, always creating a happy time and fun for everyone.

Karaoke will resume its regularly scheduled parties on Wednesday, Jan. 7, from 5:30-9:30 p.m. and everyone is looking forward to more fun in the New Year. Karaoke practice sessions continue every Monday from 1-3 p.m. in Clubhouse 6—a perfect opportunity to try karaoke for the first time or experiment with new song selections that suit singers’ mood or voice range. Everyone is welcome.
