Cribbage Club dues of $5 are now being collected

The Cribbage Club meets every Tuesday at noon in Clubhouse 1. Refreshments are served each week from noon- 12:15. Anyone arriving by 12:15 will be assured a place to play. Brief announcements are made regarding the previous week’s winners and play begins at 12:30.

Yearly dues are $5, and are collected in January.

On Dec. 23 a luncheon was provided by the club. Lasagna was served along with salad and bread and an assortment of holiday cookies for dessert. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Clubs officers Marilyn Chelsvig, Julie Milburn, Mike Rosu and Mary Holder served everyone. Hospitality hostesses Suzanne Parks and Potsy Frank worked very hard setting it all up. Melinda Cowan provided her generous array of wonderful snacks.

Dec. 23 winners: Jack O’Brien and Ron Jackson, 842, first place; John McCay, 839, second; Lynne Sorum, 832, third; Rosemary Wu, 831, fourth.
