Scrabble Club will meet Dec. 31

The Leisure World Scrabble Club meets every Wednesday (except Christmas Eve) in Clubhouse 3, Room 5, from 1-5 p.m. The next meeting is on Dec. 31.

On Dec. 17, the members celebrated Christmas with a luncheon. During the three December meetings, there were 21 scores of 300 or higher and 18 bingos (i.e. the use of all seven tiles in one move).

Suthy Edgar led with eight bingos and five scores above 300. Her totals ranged from 305 to 466. Jim Schneiderman recorded six bingos and three totals higher than 300. The range of his scores was from 300 to 412.

Diane Seeger topped 300 five times, with two bingos and a range of 301 to 432. Larry Edgar topped 300 six times, with scores ranging from 304 to 357. Donna Perkins posted totals of 303 and 325.

Others who attended this month were Sue Ann Gass, Myrna Loscuadro, Sylvia Makus and Marilyn Moody.
