LW Men’s Golf League

Eleven golfers of the Leisure World Men’s Golf League competed at the David L. Baker Golf Course on Dec. 5.

There were three birdies— one each by Jim Goltra, Clay Fisher and Fujio Norihiro. Closest to the pin on the 100-yard par 3 third hole was Bob Munn, and Goltra was closest on the 100-yard 15th hole. Gary Stivers had fewest putts for the A flight, and Won Park had fewest in the B.

A flight winners: Stivers, 6 under, first place; Goltra, 5 under, second; Sam Choi, 4 under, third; Norihiro, 3 under, fourth; Fisher, 2 under, fifth; Dave LaCascia and Chris Lankford, sixth.

B flight winners: Park, 10 under, first place; Munn, 3 under, second; Ron Jackson, third; Randy Massaro, fourth.

The league competed at the Willowick Golf Club on Dec. 8. Three of the 11 golfers shot net at below par.

A flight winners: Fisher and Jae Choi, 1 under, first place; Sam Choi, second; Jim Goltra, third; Stivers, Fujio Norihiro and Dave LaCascia, fourth.

B flight winners: Bruno Santillo, 1 under, first place; Dom Bautisa, second; Borbon, third; Ross, fourth; Bob Munn, fifth.

Advance league reservations are required with a sign-up sheet available at each round. Next year there will be no Friday golf league.
