Service Maintenance holiday decor installation brings GRF big savings

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas as GRF Service Maintenance staff spread throughout the community to install lights, wreaths, trees and other holiday decor. In previous years, GRF brought in contractors to handle this large and complex project. This year, however, the Member Services Committee determined that GRF staff could decorate the community more efficiently and economically. The move, approved by the GRF Board on Aug. 26, will save the GRF $10,000 in the 2025 GRF operating budget and save an estimated $35,000 annually moving forward.
