New guidelines will strengthen communication on major projects
GRF BOARD
by Emma DiMaggio
Communications Manager
On Nov. 25, the GRF Board approved new guidelines for how staff communicates information about major projects to the community. GRF staff will now be required to attach a communication plan to any capital or reserve project whose cost exceeds $100,000.
Staff members also have the freedom to create communication plans for lesser-cost projects when they deem it appropriate.
The new guidelines will be added to the GRF Director’s Handbook. The change is intended to increase transparency and keep LW residents informed of project plans and updates.
