Board halts RV Lot fee increase; sends proposal back to committee

Leisure World RV Lot fees will remain unchanged—for now.

At its Nov. 25 meeting, the GRF Board failed to ratify a 25% fee increase to RV Lot rental fees in an 8-8-1 tie vote with one abstention. It was a rare about face from the Board, which approved the fee changes at its Oct. 28 meeting, pending a 28-day notification to GRF shareholders.

During that noticing period, RV lot owners protested the new fee schedule, which would increase the cost of their lots by $69-$138 annually, depending on size. The increase was estimated to net GRF an additional $29,980.50 in revenue in

2026. The GRF Board ultimately sent the proposal back to the Administration Committee for further study.

The current annual cost to rent a space at the RV Lot is:

• $276 for 240 square feet.

• $414 for 414 square feet.
