Community Church

Community Church offers a free weekly discussion on the book “A Course in Miracles,” facilitated by Abby Stevens, every Tuesday at 1 p.m. For more information on “A Course in Miracles,” visit www.acim.org.

Community Church will hold a Christmas market on Saturday, Nov. 29, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Residents are welcome to peruse the holiday wares, eat Christmas sweet treats, and start the season with cheer and merriment.

On Sunday, Nov. 23, Community Church will wrestle with the question “What does it mean to be strong in God?” Thanksgiving can be a difficult time if a person is alone. Those who are looking for a place to belong are welcome to join the church this Sunday.

Those who are looking for a progressive faith community where questions are welcome to join Community Church. People are also welcome to join Community Church’s Coffee with the Pastor on Thursdays, Dec. 4, at 10 a.m. This is a great low-key opportunity to meet Pastor Johan Dodge and some of the members of the church before attending a service. All are welcome who are welcoming to all. Community Church meets for worship every Sunday at 9:50 a.m. at 14000 Church Place near the St. Andrews Gate.
