Assembly of God

Psalm 103, written by David, most likely during the time of his reign as king, proclaims praise for God in every facet of life. It reflects the experiences of David and the people as they lived through trying and uncertain times politically, spiritually and physically. Praise is a believer’s weapon against fear and doubt. God is not surprised by what people are going through, and he is with them working for their benefit. Pastor Chuck Franco will bring the message “I Will Give Him Praise,” this Sunday, Nov. 23.

Wednesday Bible study, “What Does the Bible Say?” continues with “Why Did God’s People Wait?” Waiting is hard in whatever context one experiences it. Waiting in silence, when a clear outcome is not apparent, is even more difficult. Why does God ask his people to wait? What can be gained? Answers to these and many other questions will be discussed at on Wednesday, Nov. 25, at 10 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2.
