The Leisure World pool league concluded its ninth week of play, with just one week left in the regular season. On Nov. 2, The Renegades beat The Burners 8-5. However, The Burners are still in first place by nine games. Steve Mitchell and Paul Ivanoff each won five games for The Renegades.

The Snow Bros stayed in contention by edging RDS 7-6. It was a team effort by The Snow Bros, with Gary Snow, Ray Friedrichsen and Guta Basner each winning four games.

BG& E Electric beat Hot Sticks 7-6. Although Hot Sticks is in fifth place, they are only four games out of second place and with a big win next week they could be in the playoffs, if they are in second place.

On Nov. 5, R U Chalking 2 Me moved into first place by one game by beating The Pocket Predators 9-4. The former first place team, The 3 Lads, lost 9-4 to The Favorites. The 3 Lads managed to win the last game on a long thin eight ball shot by Earick Ward. Dave Silva of The Favorites won five games, including both singles matches.

On the Eight beat Raising Cane 8-5. Wild!Fire Christensen and John Barth each won five games for On the Eight. Next week it will be known which teams are in the playoffs.

In the straight pool league, following the conclusion of an intense 17th and final week, the race for playoff berths was fiercely contested. Patrick Conlon notably secured his spot by defeating Gary Snow in a pivotal match. Despite that outcome, Snow also qualified for the playoffs based on his consistent season-long performance.

The confirmed playoff roster includes: Rusty Aquino, Dave Silva, Steve Edrich, Ruffy Ramos, Bruce Pettis, Phuoc Tran, Patrick Conlon and Gary Snow. The club congratulates all these players for their exceptional season.
