Let the Good Times Roll Show: Nov. 15

“Songs from Shows and Movies” will be the theme for the Let the Good Times Roll show and dance on Saturday, Nov. 15, in Clubhouse 2. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.; the show starts at 6. After the show, The Legends of Rock will perform until 9:15.

Club members have picked out melodies sung in memorable movies, Broadway shows and television series. Songs include “Ring of Fire,” “I Don’t Know How to Love Him,” “The Way We Were,” “Tammy,” “Hallelujah,” “Sentimental Journey,” “I Can’t Say No” and “What a Feeling” from “Flashdance,” and more.

In addition to performances by club members Carmen Edwards, Erika Greenwood, Dotti Herdman, David Noble, Joan Rosenberg and Nina Todorov, the show will feature guest singers Sally Glausser and Mariza Rahman. Joie Del Pino will announce the songs and the movie or show where they originated.

Light refreshments, coffee, ice and cups will be available. Guests can bring their own beverages and snacks. There is no admission fee but donations are appreciated.
