GRF bus trip will feature special tour from museum’s chief curator

Tickets are on sale now for a cultural day trip to the Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA) in Long Beach on Wednesday, Nov. 19. This special outing costs $75 and includes round-trip transportation, museum admission, a guided tour, lunch and an exclusive behind-the-scenes experience.

The bus will leave from the Amphitheater parking lot at 9 a.m. and return at 3 p.m. Participants will be welcomed with tea, coffee and biscuits in the museum lobby and greeted personally by MOLAA President and CEO Dr. Lourdes I. Ramos. Chief Curator Gabriela Urtiaga will lead a guided tour, introducing the group to highlights from the museum’s collection.

Midday, guests will enjoy a boxed lunch in the Sculpture Garden surrounded by greenery and outdoor artwork. The afternoon will feature a VIP tour offering a closer look at areas of the museum that are not open to the general public.
