On Sunday, Nov. 16, LW Assembly of God will welcome guest minister Caleb Christiansen, the campus staff minister for Inter-Varsity USA on the campus of University of California, Irvine. University is often where a young Christians faith is challenged for the first time. The availability of support, affirmation and community on the secular campus is key to strengthening the walk of young Christians, as well as providing answers to students seeking truth who have not had an adequate witness of salvation through Jesus Christ. This is an opportunity to encourage, pray for and support young men and women who are called to campus ministry to reach an unreached generation.

Wednesday Bible study begins a new session of the Essentials of Faith series with “What Does the Bible Say?” taught by Sharon Hodde Miller. The opening week’s topic is “What is God’s Plan?” This is an interactive Bible study that includes a video lesson and discussion moderated by Pastor Chuck Franco.

Leisure World Assembly of God meets Sundays at 10:30 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2. The Wednesday Bible study is at 10 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2.
