The Golden Age Foundation (GAF) provides many popular programs that improve quality of life in the community, including the Hospitality Center in Clubhouse 6, mobility aid loans, document shredding events, yearly income tax preparation and the battery recycling program. All GAF programs are free to Leisure World shareholders.
Residents are asked to consider including the Golden Age Foundation when planning a will or estate. Previous legacy contributions from generous residents have funded many projects that benefit residents in need, including three accessible buses Meals On Wheels, gift baskets programs and numerous bus shelters. People interested in a legacy contribution should consult with an estate planning professional.
People can send a check to P.O. Box 2369, Seal Beach, CA 90740, or stop by in Clubhouse 6, downstairs, where the Hospitality kitchen counter is. A metal box is mounted to the wall to drop off membership fees.
Make checks payable to the Golden Age Foundation. The GAF is an independent nonprofit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization (tax ID 23-7273105) dedicated to serving the residents of Leisure World. Its purpose is to make the community a better place to live.
