GAF to sponsor multicultural performance next year

On Saturday, July 18, 2026, the Golden Age Foundation (GAF) will host cultural performances by residents to showcase the beauty of the diversity of cultures in Leisure World on the Amphitheater stage.

This is a new program, and the GAF is looking for local talents, for about six teams total to perform for 15 minutes for the 90-minute event. The GAF will start accepting applications in February.

About 11 years ago, the multicultural festival featured six groups, including the Filipino Association of Leisure World, Hui O’ Hula Club, India Club, Korean American Club, Leisure World Cloggers Club and the Vietnamese Club.

GAF is excited host this event and give space for residents to learn about different backgrounds and cultures of their neighbors.
