LW Community Emergency Response Team

LW Community Emergency Response Team’s (LW CERT) final safety class of the year will be on Friday, Oct. 24, in Clubhouse 3, Room 9, at 9 a.m. Injuries increase for seniors over the holidays so residents are encouraged to join this holiday safety class taught by LW CERT President Catherine O’Brien, who will go over practical ways to keep safe and accident-free.

LW CERT’s free monthly safety classes are 45 minutes long and all residents are welcome to join. Refreshments are provided.

September’s safety class, titled “12 Ways to Prepare,” reviewed steps to equip residents be ready to face any emergency or disaster. The giveaway was a bottle of Potable Aqua tablets to purify water, won by Anne Killian.
