Cribbage Club welcomes new players to join in
The Cribbage Club meets every Tuesday at noon in Clubhouse 1. Refreshments are served each week from noon-12:15 and anyone arriving by 12:15 will be assured a place to play. Brief announcements are made and play begins at 12:30. Yearly dues are $5 and each player pays $1 to play. Those finishing in the top four scores will be awarded prize money the following week.
Another new player joined, and the club welcomes anyone interested in playing cribbage to come join in the fun.
Susan Dodson provided homemade apple cake along with Ruth Bonnema, who provided ice cream. Bonnema and Dodson served and Melinda Cowan provided mixed nuts, candies and pretzel snack. The club appreciates and thanks all who provided and served.
Sept. 30 winners: Helen Elich, first place with a perfect score of 847, earning another star; Susan Dodson, 838, second; Julie Milburn, 828, third; Melinda Cowan, 820, fourth. Alma Zamzow finished with six 121s. Helen Elich finished with six 121s the previous week. The club congratulates all the winners.
